ScotTLanta Rides — Terms of Service
Last updated: August 22, 2026
Welcome to ScotTLanta Rides. The words “we,” “us,” and “our” mean ScotTLanta Rides, a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Scott Ellison. ScotTLanta Rides operates this website and related booking tools (powered by Shopify) to provide private reserved-ride transportation, primarily between North Georgia and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (the “Services”).
These Terms of Service, together with the policies linked from this website (these “Terms”), describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services or book a ride. Please read them carefully.
By visiting the website, contacting us, making a reservation, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Access and account
You represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter this agreement. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult 21 years of age or older.
You may be asked to provide accurate information (name, phone, email, pickup and drop-off details, flight notes, payment details, and similar). You represent that the information you provide is correct, current, and complete. You may not transfer a booking to someone else without our consent.
2. Our services
ScotTLanta Rides provides private, reserved transportation driven solely by Scott Ellison. The vehicle available now is a 2022 Toyota Corolla LE (Economy). A 2025 Mercedes-Benz E450 (Luxury) is planned; luxury airport rates will be posted when that service opens.
- Listed North Georgia cities have a published flat rate for one-way airport rides, the same to ATL and from ATL, Domestic or International.
- Round trip is available now: both legs together, same city, with 10% already included when both times confirm on the calendar.
- Cities not on the published list — including farther locations such as Blue Ridge, Rome, Augusta, and similar — require a custom quote. Call, text, or email.
- Private executive / hourly chauffeur use of the car is a separate service. Pricing is custom. Call for details. A two-hour minimum applies. Those trips must be requested at least 48 hours in advance, and a deposit may be required as confirmed at booking.
- No deposit is required for standard airport or point-to-point rides unless we state otherwise in writing.
We do not guarantee that vehicle appearance, capacity, or service will match website photos in every respect. Capacity is limited:
- Economy (2022 Toyota Corolla LE): up to 3 passengers, plus typical luggage (about 2 large suitcases and a couple of smaller bags).
- Luxury (when available): luggage capacity will be confirmed when that service opens.
Descriptions, pricing, and availability may change. We may decline, limit, or discontinue a service.
3. Bookings
Submitting a booking (online, by phone, text, or email) is an offer to reserve transportation. We may accept, decline, modify, or cancel a booking for reasons including calendar availability, safety, or passenger conduct.
A booking is not confirmed until we accept it and, where required, payment or a deposit is received. Review the details before you submit. We may be unable to change a trip after it is accepted.
The ride is for personal transportation, not commercial resale.
4. Prices, payment, and billing
Listed-city airport prices are the published flat rates. Round-trip prices are both legs with the 10% discount included when both times confirm. Unlisted locations are custom quotes. Prices do not automatically include taxes, tolls, parking, or extra wait-time charges unless stated.
Payment options include:
- pay in full when you book (online or payment link);
- Tap to Pay in the car (card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay);
- cash before or at the end of the ride;
- an emailed payment link.
You authorize us to charge the fare, any cancellation or no-show fee, and any additional charges you agreed to. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided. Gratuity is optional.
5. Delays and force majeure
We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, accidents, construction, airport operations, or events outside reasonable control. You are responsible for building enough time into your schedule. Example: for an 8:00 a.m. flight, we strongly recommend pickup no later than 5:30–6:00 a.m.
No refund is issued for late arrival caused by traffic, weather, road conditions, or similar factors.
6. Cancellations, wait time, and no-shows
See also our Refund Policy. In summary:
- At least 24 hours before pickup: full refund / no penalty.
- Between 12 and 24 hours before pickup: 50% cancellation fee (50% refund), unless the cancellation is for a valid reason genuinely outside your control, in which case a full refund will be issued.
- Within 12 hours of pickup: 100% non-refundable.
We will wait a maximum of 20 minutes past the scheduled pickup time. After 20 minutes the ride is terminated and no refund is issued. If you chose to pay after the ride and are a no-show (or the ride is terminated for late arrival), you will be invoiced for the booked fare, due upon receipt.
Hourly / chauffeur deposits are non-refundable if cancelled outside the free-cancellation window or if you are a no-show, subject to the valid-reason exception above.
7. Passenger conduct
Minimum age: 18 to book or ride unaccompanied. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult 21 or older.
Prohibited:
- smoking of any kind;
- alcohol consumption or open containers in the vehicle;
- weapons of any kind;
- illegal drugs;
- disruptive, disrespectful, threatening, or abusive behavior toward the driver.
Vaping only with prior explicit approval from the driver. Intoxicated passengers at pickup will be denied service and charged the full reservation price. Passengers who become intoxicated after pickup may continue the ride if they remain respectful and non-disruptive (the driver acting as designated driver).
We may refuse or end a ride — and still charge the full fare — for a violation of these rules, a safety concern, or conduct that makes the driver feel unsafe or disrespected.
8. Intellectual property
Website content (text, graphics, logos, images, design) is owned by ScotTLanta Rides or its licensors and protected by U.S. law. Personal, non-commercial use of the site is allowed. No reproduction or commercial use without prior written consent.
9. Relationship with Shopify
The website and booking tools are powered by Shopify. Sales, reservations, and transportation are between you and ScotTLanta Rides. Shopify is not responsible for rides, payments, cancellations, injury, damage, or loss arising from the Services. You release Shopify and its affiliates from claims related to your transactions with ScotTLanta Rides.
10. Privacy
Personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy. Because the site is hosted by Shopify, some information is also processed under Shopify’s privacy terms.
11. Feedback
If you submit reviews, suggestions, or other content (“Feedback”), you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it to operate and promote the Services. We may post a review after Scott reads it. We may decline or remove Feedback that is unlawful or violates these Terms.
12. Errors
We may correct errors in pricing, availability, or descriptions, including after a booking is submitted, and may cancel or modify bookings accordingly.
13. Prohibited uses
Use the Services only for lawful purposes. You may not harass or harm the driver or others, transmit malware, scrape data, impersonate others, or use the Services in a way that could expose ScotTLanta Rides to liability.
14. Termination
We may suspend or end access to the Services or a booking at our discretion. You remain liable for amounts due through the date of termination. Provisions that by nature should survive (including intellectual property, liability limits, indemnification, and governing law) survive.
15. Disclaimer of warranties
THE WEBSITE AND BOOKING TOOLS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE WEBSITE OR BOOKING PROCESS WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, OR ERROR-FREE.
16. Limitation of liability
ScotTLanta Rides carries commercial auto liability insurance with Progressive. In an accident or incident during a ride, liability is determined by the facts, Georgia law, and that policy.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScotTLanta Rides is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost time, missed flights, or missed appointments arising from delays, cancellations, or use of the Services.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under Georgia law.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ScotTLanta Rides (the sole proprietor), Shopify, and related parties from claims, damages, and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising out of your breach of these Terms, your violation of law or third-party rights, your conduct during a ride, or your use of the Services.
18. Severability
If one provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
19. Waiver; entire agreement
Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. These Terms and the policies they reference are the entire agreement between you and ScotTLanta Rides.
20. Assignment
You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them.
21. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You consent to exclusive venue in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.
22. Headings
Headings are for convenience only.
23. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after a change is acceptance. The version posted when you book is the version that applies to that reservation.
